Our Leverage Oxidation Remover is a heavy cut compound that uses unique abrasives that not only cut, but also leaves a polished surface. It works perfect for removing oxidation, 1000 grit sand marks, scratches and even glass water spots. It will buff out with minimal splatter and dust. If you have to go deep with wet sanding our Leverage Oxidation Remover will remove those sanding spots and give your surface an excellent shine. Before you begin, always make sure the surface is cool. Start with a rotary buffer with either a wool or foam pad working 10 foot sections and keep a clean terry cloth towel nearby for wiping off any excess. If you are working with uncured paint then apply the compound directly to the buffing pad. If not, then you can apply the compound directly to the surface. After you finish compounding please wait 24 hours before applying polish for best results.
For optimum results, some boats may require wet sanding before buffing.
